Prizes will be awarded to both K-2 and 3-5 winners. These grade band entries will be judged separately and for each the following will be awarded:
FIRST PLACE PRIZE:
Class Prizes:
The First Place Class will receive:
- a one-hour Discovery Education assembly for their school
- a Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge green prize pack (for each student)
School Prize:
The School of the First Place Class will receive:
- a $5,000 school grant to be used to further "green" initiatives
- a banner for their school
- a one-year membership to NSTA for the school's principal or other authorized official to give to an educator of their choosing
SECOND PLACE PRIZE:

The Second Place Class will receive:
- a Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge green prize pack (for each student)
School Prizes:
The School of the Second Place Class will receive:
- a $2,500 school grant to be used to further "green" initiatives
- a banner for their school
- a one-year membership to NSTA for the school's principal or other authorized official to give to an educator of their choosing
THIRD PLACE PRIZE:

The Third Place Class will receive:
- a Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge green prize pack (for each student)
School Prizes:
The School of the Third Place Class will receive:
- a $1,000 school grant to be used to further "green" initiatives
- a banner for their school
UP TO 50 NATIONAL FINALISTS:

Each member of a National Finalist Class will receive:
- an online Finalist certificate
School Prizes:
Each School of a National Finalist Class will receive:
- a banner for the school
ALL ENTRANTS:
All teams that submit an application will receive a customized online certificate.
